Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The BridgeWay’s Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) encourage people to strike a balance between maintaining daily schedules and benefitting from therapy. For providers, IOP may be an enhancement to outpatient therapy or an effective transition from partial hospitalization or inpatient treatment. For patients, an Intensive Outpatient Program may provide the necessary structure and support to shift from one therapeutic setting to another.

Intensive Outpatient Program for Mental Health

For adults, ages 18 and older including seniors, our intensive outpatient program for mental health assists with the transition from our inpatient program or as an alternative to inpatient or partial hospitalization. Here patients may receive treatment for mental health issues that impair one’s ability to function at home or work.

While the treatment plan is tailored to each person and based upon their payer source, patients attend group therapy and educational sessions four hours a day, four to five days a week, and up to six weeks. Also, joint family sessions are held weekly.

Program Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM.

Intensive Outpatient Program for Chemical Dependency

Our intensive outpatient program for chemical dependency assists adults not requiring medical detoxification, with the move from our chemical dependency inpatient program. Based upon the twelve-step model and with morning or evening tracts available, adults, 18 and older including seniors, may receive treatment for chemical dependency issues that lead to fractured lives. Also, specialized treatment for co-occurring substance abuse is offered.

Although treatment plans are customized to each person, patients attend group therapy, on-site Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and educational sessions four hours a day, four to five days a week, and up to six weeks. In addition, families are encouraged to attend weekly family sessions.

Program Hours:

Morning Tract: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9:00AM to 12:00 PM
Evening Tract: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 5:30PM to 8:30PM, and Saturday, 9:00AM to 12:00PM
